Adjusting to the dryness of California, I realized that beauty products are a part of my life more then ever before. I featured Burt's Bees Res-Q Ointment (here) for my first beauty post and would like to share two of my favorite hair products for all you ladies out there who need some heat and desert air protection like myself.

TRESemme's Heat Protection Spray = Amazing!!! There is no other word for it. I have naturally wavy, curly, frizzy, mind-of-its-own hair and just can't help but give it a little heat treatment. Coming from soft water in the Midwest, my hair has thirsted for protection because the LA water is no bueno. Applying heat on top of this just calls for bad news. TRESemme is so affordable, only $3.99 at Target, which beats the overly priced brands in my book.

S Factor Dream Drops Shine On has to be my most favorite hair product yet. Although it is on the opposite end of the price chart from TRESemme, usually $30, you can easily buy it off Amazon for about $14. This product not only conditions your ends, which we California girls need daily, but it also helps define strands and shine. Protection from mother nature's damage? Yes please...count me in. A little tiny dab goes a very long way so it is well worth every little penny you spend.
